Fukufuku's Yokai

Fin dall’antichità il folklore giapponese è stato popolato da una moltitudine di fenomeni misteriosi incentrati su spiriti, mostri, fantasmi e tanti racconti di figure misteriose. Il termine “Yōkai” si riferisce generalmente all’intero mondo soprannaturale/paranormale, non solo a creature, demoni o cose specifiche (i Mononoke sono spiriti vendicativi, per esempio).
Octagon Studio per il suo debutto presenta fuori dal Giappone un autore che ha trascorso la maggior parte della sua vita di illustratore lavorando sulla “Yōkai Art”.

Since ancient times, Japanese folklore has been populated by a rich multitude of mysterious phenomena focusing on spirits, monsters, ghosts, and so many tales of evil figures. The meaning “Yōkai” generally refers to the whole supernatural/paranormal world, not only creatures, demons or specific things (Mononoke are vengeful spirits, for example).
Octagon Studio for its debut introduces outside Japan an author who has spent most of his illustrator life working on “Yōkai Art”.
